He is very knowledgeable but struggles to connect with all players, connects with members that only have a impact. Can improve with the assistant coaches he hires, but more importantly should try to make the experience more fun for athletes that come through the program.

One of the greatest coaches I have ever experienced. As a former athlete turned college coach I have been around countless coaches at every level. Chris Villarrial is a man that anyone is lucky to play for given the opportunity.

Seems to connect with older players that have an impact on the team, but he has a hard time with younger players. Not sure why, but it is slightly confusing.
