Coach Rocco is a great coach who helped lead Richmond back into the National Spotlight. He is very dedicated to molding his players into honorable Men and he is committed to academic excellence. At times he can be a bad communicator and he micromanages his coaches at times. He can also be a bit two-faced and doesn't always handle situations correctly. But overall, he is a good coach and a great guy.

I was a Four year starter under Danny Rocco and I have to say he is a true Player's Coach. It is always student-athlete first good or bad. He is there to help you as a player but also as a person and he'll go to the chopping block on your behalf. Danny Rocco is a good person that can save player's careers.
