I have watched hundreds of games season after season and this guy is either truly a good coach, or he has shielded himself with a community of yes-men. Personally I can’t tell. I’ve watched some great players end their careers under him over preventable injuries and poor management. How many career ending ACL injuries before people start asking questions?

If your priority for your son is to put them in a “winning” division 3 program with zero regard for anything else, you’ve hit a goldmine. If you care about your son, and want to foster not only his love for lacrosse but love for life outside of lacrosse? Steer clear. Our families experience was so unpleasant that we are doing our due diligence.

Coach Webby is one of the greatest mentors a young man can ask for. I don’t believe any words I put in this box will ever serve his impact on the Dickinson community, players, parents and families a sliver of the justice it deserves. He is a great man who always puts his team first, has his players best interests front of mind, will tell you how it is and needs to be, keeps all of his players and parents on the same page, and never shys away from delivering hard conversations.
