He cares a lot about players, but often struggles to create a safe environment where players can get better. His coaching staff is really knowledgeable and effective, though he can be difficult to deal with during rough patches. He is a wonderful person to talk to off the field.

Coach Wagner cares so much about all of his players both on and off the field. He is the winningest coach in Swarthmore Men’s Soccer history with numerous NCAA appearances. I loved playing for him and would recommend him as a coach to anybody who asked.
