Coach Rasmussen works with the jumpers (LJ, TJ, HJ, PV) at USU and is very knowledgeable. He seems to care for his athletes and is good at recruiting athletes who are diamonds in the rough (strong mentally and technically, where you help them become stronger and faster). He is especially knowledgeable in the pole vault and has helped many athletes go from average to good and a few from good to great. His coaching style is positive, patient, and supportive. His athletes are happy, hard-working, and support each other.
