She was also a player, so she still has some of that player’s insight which can be helpful. She is direct but can be intense.

I had Jas as my position coach, and my experience with her was good. We got along pretty well and i think that helped us build a good relationship. She knows how to push you and find your limits. Her humor shifts pretty esasily though, and sometimes that’s not great. She cared a lot about me, both on and off the court, and we had plenty of conversations about life in general, and i appreciate that. If you Connect with her everything will be fine, and that’s what happened to me, not everyone can say that though.

She is a good coach and typically brings an element of fun to the gym. However, she can be moody and hard to read, which results in inconsistencies that make players unsure of themselves and their relationship with her. Very knowledgeable about the game and can relate to players in ways many coaches cannot.

Jasmine cares about her players and the bond she forms with them. She is honest, sometimes in a way that is brutal but I'd rather have that than a coach that isn't honest.

Jasmine was the assistant coach responsible for the point guards. She has strong basketball knowledge and a clear understanding of the technical and physical demands of Division I basketball. She has provided valuable instruction in developing guard play, decision-making, and on-court competitiveness. Her coaching style is very direct and high-intensity, and at times her communication and feedback style can vary, which some players have found challenging to consistently interpret and respond to. While her approach is clearly driven by high expectations and a desire for performance improvement, it can be experienced differently across individuals depending on the moment and context. Overall, she brings important technical expertise to the guard group and contributes to preparing players for the demands of elite competition, particularly in terms of toughness and game readiness.

Had a decent experience under Coach Jenkins. She is very tough and demanding, always expecting the best from her players. At times her communication was lacking and there was confusion but she is very knowledgable as a coach. Some days I felt as though I wasn't sure which version of Coach Jenkins I was going to get, whether that be kind and joking or super serious.
