Really intense and emotional which can be really good at times but also frustrating. Tough love type of guy.

Coach Civetti is a perfect example of why many athletes choose to go DIII over DI

Jay Civetti was the reason I chose Division III athletics over DI recruiting options. His personality is electric and his vision for how a program is to be run is nothing short of perfection. His coaching style is fluid, and allows his team's leaders to shine and steer the program to success. Although my first two years with the program saw little success, his dedication to the team and his men kept me focused and committed throughout my four years at Tufts University.
