Son played for him at a different school. Had a bench that was pretty deep with talent but didn’t seem to know how to use them. Lineups didn’t make sense, 5’9” setter in front row against 6’6” blockers/hitters while 6’5” OH played back row only. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to his lineups and he did not adjust them even after losing miserably. I don’t think he really understands the game from a tactical standpoint, hence our extreme losing seasons. FWIW son played 3-4 rotations most games, so this criticism isn’t about playing time, it’s about frustration over losing repeatedly when they had the talent to win.
