Working with Coach DiLuzio has been one of the most impactful experiences of my soccer career. His passion for the game is contagious—he brings an energy every single day that pushes the team to compete at the highest level and believe in what we’re capable of. He isn’t just a coach who wants to win games; he wants to bring out the best in every player, and he does it with a standard of professionalism that earns immediate respect. His coaching style blends intensity with genuine care. Training sessions are organized, challenging, and always connected to a clear purpose. You don’t just run through drills—you learn, you grow, and you leave better than you arrived. Off the field, he takes the time to understand players as people. He checks in, asks the right questions, and supports you in a way that goes far beyond soccer. But make no mistake—he also holds everyone accountable. Standards matter, and he pushes the group to meet them through honesty, clarity, and a shared commitment to excellence. A moment that stands out to me came during a stretch when my confidence was at its lowest. Instead of letting me spiral, Coach DiLuzio took me out for coffee, pulled up my old high school highlights, and reminded me of the player I was when I first arrived.
