Jim schlossnagle is a HUGE disappointment for Texas A&M. He is brash, a bully, physical abusive toward his players. The dynamic changed completely when he took over. Players are NOT happy with him.

This coach was very white-collar in his approach to the game of baseball. He did not interact one-on-one with players and tended to be disrespectful in various circumstances.

Terrible coach. Has told his players at Texas A&M multiple times this season that their career is over, then goes on to put them in the game in horrible situations. His assistant coaches hate the way he leads, and there are very few of his players that want to play for him next year. If you value your mental health, go somewhere else.

I played for coach Schlossnagle at Texas A&M University. If your goal is to play professional baseball then he is the coach for you. He is very knowledgeable on the game and helped me expand my knowledge and has more than prepared me for pro ball. Every coach has a flaw and his would be how he reacts when things aren’t going right during games. When all is well in the game he is great but when things don’t go the way he wants or should he starts to lose it a little. Other than that, which we all have things to work on, Coach Schloss was a great coach and I would recommend him to athletes if they want to develop as a player and learn what it takes to win.
