He is a good guy and cares about his players and the team's success, but his communication skills could be enormously improved. His coaching could be improved if he were less passive and appropriately penalized players that go against the team's expectations.

He's a nice man. He has good intentions, and speaking with him one on one can sometimes be beneficial. However, he lacks the necessary communication skills that a division one coach should have. Many times he will leave important things unsaid, like constructive criticism, because either he is too nice or simply does not know how to approach us.
