His the HEAD COACH for both teams but works more with distance runners. His knowledge is on distance because he used to do that event. If you’re a sprinter DO NOT GO THERE. His coaching staff isn’t the best and truly don’t get the concept of putting your all into coaching. Very Lazy. Workouts aren’t challenging enough to be a top tier sprinter. Makes sprinters become distance runners if they feel an athlete can’t produce instead of training the athlete to get better in events they were known to do/ signed to the university to do. Allow the athletes to become discouraged and speak down about athletes to other athletes. Allow the university to treat the program as if they’re nothing meanwhile the track program made PLENTY of HUGE accolades compared to the other programs. If you commit here sorry in advance.

For starters they only have Coach Marshall listed here as a Men’s track coach while he is the head coach of the women’s track as well. It genuinely does feel though however that he is mainly focused on the men’s track and field and even they take a back seat to his personal endeavors. It felt like a volunteer track club with coaches who are never really worried about developing their athletes just claiming credit on what they do produce. I spent all 4 years having to do a whole lot of workout and training for hurdles especially on my own.
