JT is a wonderful coach. He is very knowledgeable and truly cares about players as people. He teaches us so much more than just water polo. Really nice guy and can be quite formal until you get to know him better. Cares the most about winning. Will be very supportive if you respect him. If you ask for honesty and clarity he will always give it.

He also understands team dynamics and works to unite the team to be successful. JT really knows the game of water polo. His system of play not only allows structure but also creativity. He is also very passionate about not just building the athlete but also the person. Criticism would be that whether he means to or not, he plays mind games with his players with where they stand in the team as well as playing time.
