Tillman is far and away the best men’s lacrosse coach in the country. If you work hard and are a good teammate you’ll have an amazing experience and have a lot of success on and off the field. He genuinely cares about his players and no one knows more about the game than he does. Playing at Maryland for Coach Tillman was the best decision of my life.

I think he’s the best in the world at his job on the field; off the field could be considered one of the worst. Poor motivator, leader; relies heavily on the culture created in the locker room by players to drive success. Has little respect outside of lacrosse knowledge within his own locker room.
