Listen to the reviews or don’t but numbers don’t lie. He leaves his favorites on the mound too long and develops a run deficit that they can’t come back from. This is why most games were lost, check the records. But it’s not just him, the team needs a whole new staff to match its D2 status.

Created a terrible acronym called ATOMICC and did not stand for any of the things he created. Uses his power over you just cause he can and is on a serious power trip. Absolutely cannot stand it when players do a program other than his and thinks his way is the greatest way of all time even though all pitchers lose velocity, get worse, and get injured on it. Very disrespectful to players, brings guys into the program just to forget about them and not even watch their bullpens, incredibly biased and political, might be one of the worst coaches i have ever seen. Does not know anything about hitting but tries to coach hitting. Puts on a front for recruits as well. Also pretended to be a D1 baseball player but was really a grad assistant. If you are considering going to a program that he is coaching at you should not go.

He is what is great about college coaching! I want to go into coaching one day and I am thankful that I had the chance to play for Coach Cliff because I had a first hand look of what college coaching should be! He cares about his players, listens and is willing to go above and beyond for his guys! He showed me that a coach can care for you, demand the most from you and show up everyday wanting to help you become the best version of yourself! Emory and Henry was lucky to have coach cliff! The comment about players going into the portal is ridiculous because the only reason they went into the portal is because Coach Cliff is leaving E&H for a new job and all players come to E&H for him! Go find Coach Cliff and go play for him, it will be the best decision you make!

My son played for Coach Cliff for 2 years at Emory & Henry and my only wish is that he got to play all 4 years for this man. He was such a great influence for my son and we are thankful for what Coach Cliff did for E&H and for every player on their roster. If you are a parent, send your son to play for him. If you are a player, I can attest to what my son said that you will love every moment playing for him. He is a great leader of men and is dedicated to his players! He is what college coaching is all about!!

A coach who will go out of his way to do anything for you! I played for him for 2 years and those were the best 2 years of my life both on and off the field. Everyday he came to the field with an attitude to help get you better anyway he possibly could! He is willing to think outside the box and get creative as possible to get you better! His office door is always open if you ever have to talk about anything. A lot of our players had a tough time off the field this year and he was always there for us! Never seen a coach work so hard! Any negative comment about Coach Cliff are totally false and are not from guys who were in his program!
