She Is Poison. Has Had Her Entire Team Attending Therapy Sessions For The Last 3 Years, Because Of The Head Games She Plays On The Girls.

There is not a single positive tag that could describe her. She is a horrible coach and it absolutely horrible to her players. She lies. She pits her players against one another. She taken great D1 culture to a nerotic theropy driven team, that is being told to ignore what she says. She promises everything, and delivers on nothing. I've heard the same stories from her players from Radford. She is poison to a team and it's culture.

Marci Byers has ruined VT volleyball and she has ruined the college athletic experience for a lot of players. She is a manipulator, a narcissist, and overall a horrible person. On top of everything, she has no knowledge about volleyball and is not a good leader or coach.

She is the worst coach I’ve ever had in my life. Not only is she an awful coach but an awful person. Consistently lies and manipulates players. Is even disrespectful to her coworkers. I can get into too many details but be careful if you come into contact with this woman.

100% worst experience. She is knowledgeable but would rather play head games with the girl than put together a confident culture, regardless of winning, Byers is a pathetic example of a leader, coach or anything. She’s in it for the paycheck!
