Mare was an incredible mentor and influence during my time at SLU. she cared about me as a person and a player. She genuinely cares about her players as people and would do anything she can for them. I still consider Mare a close friend and she does a great job keeping alumni together! Thanks for everything!

Mare is a great coach and cares about her athletes only when she wants to. If you are a star player you’ll be fine. If not, she doesn’t bother with you. She also could benefit with mental health training and how to deal with athletes that need that kind of support.
