Coach curcio is a very knowledgeable coach, especially in the throws. She is very good at correcting technique, however, this coaching is sometimes overshadowed by intense coaching that isn’t necessary helpful but more so demeaning.

Curcio is a mean, angry coach. Her temper causes most of her athletes to lose respect for her. She is a bully. She makes athletes feel like dirt when she gives instructions, so possibly good technical instructions are not received well because they are given in a demeaning manner. She arbitrarily picks favorite athletes, and then ignores everyone else. Even her favorite athletes don't like her.
