"Tough but fair" sums up Nathan completely. He will push you and hold you to very high standards, but if anything goes seriously wrong he ALWAYS shows up and ALWAYS will help. If you haven't experienced that, it's because you haven't really screwed up. He believes in ownership and holding people accountable. Athletes that struggle with him need more "hand holding" (which he admits he struggles with!)
