Creates A Great Team CultureEasy To Get Along WithKnows The GameRespectful To Players

Neil is very much a father and family guy and that shows through the way he cares about each of his players. He looks out for everyone while fostering a competitive environment and encouraging the team to keep striving for more. He preaches standards often, holding everyone accountable for maintaining them. Passing the fitness test is a primary standard that he takes very seriously. He also sets clear principles related to work ethic and style of play that he expects everyone to buy into. He clearly understands the game well, and following his principles has brought the program lots of success. Overall, Neil is a great guy and quality soccer coach.

Coach Payne is a huge reason why I was able to move soccer again. He believes in his players and is willing to see their potential. He can be direct at times but ultimately is grounded in a passion for the game and wants what’s best for his players. He is a true respectable coach and I could not recommend him more.
