Coach Rick was a good coach for academics and tennis. He cared that you succeeded outside of the court. That was his top priority. Matches were fun but practices were pretty similar. He was sort of old school with practices it was the same type of drills for practices but he made sure everyone got along on the team.

Rick McClure was honestly the best coach you could've asked for! I'm so grateful that I was able to have him for all four years. Not only did he care about you as a student athlete, but he cared about what kind of person you were too. He value academics and made sure you received the help you needed (tutoring, appointments with athletic advisors, office hours with professors, etc..)
