Coach Webber is able to command the respect and full attention of his athletes. Two weaknesses that I noticed: 1) he does not always communicate on the water and during erg workouts when athletes make technique errors. 2) He overemphasizes long-distance workouts and crews end up falling short during the spring on power and and sprint racing skill.

I have a very strong relationship with my coach. He has been there for me through some very tough times in both my rowing career and personal life. I always tell people that rowing is such a difficult sport, your coach can make or break your experience. In the case of Coach Weber he has gone above and beyond to make my rowing experience what it is.
