Coach Leavenworth is honest and focuses on student’s academics as a priority. Her assistant coach dad is caring and supportive. Highly recommend.

Transactional Coach Not About The Players

Passive aggressive, not supportive of players academics (no help with scheduling conflicts, group project obligations and no team study sessions) and does not create a healthy team culture (no team bonding or events outside of practice/games). Very much a coach that is transactional (about herself) and NOT transformative (about players). Has her father as a volunteer coach who adds little value and does not connect with players, there just for fun. They pout when the team is not playing well. The only bright spot is the paid assistant coach but she seems to play a minor tole due to the father-daughter dynamic. Not the experience we expected from a D3 college program.
