as bad as it gets. promoted well beyond her competency. "given" the job as a placeholder during COVID - they just haven't got around to firing her yet. Will happen soon enough

Sociopath. Narcissistic. Only cares about what is going on in her personal life. Requires players to be on time, when she is not. Seems to hang around people in the athletic department more than she does her team. She is not easily accessible, hard to communicate with, and lies about MOST things.

narcissistic, only cares about what she wants, not our needs. Overall really behind other coaches tactically. For someone who loves to hear herself talk communication is nonexistent. Never on time to anything even though she stresses that all players must be early. Actually got upset with the entire team because not enough people liked an Instagram post of her award…

Terrible coach and even worse person. Tells the team she trusts them all (a lie). Treats some players like her child, and others like garbage. Never has a solution to anything soccer-wise. Does not know how to coach. Will watch the team struggle and do absolutely nothing (because she has nothing substantive to offer) including not making changes to the lineup because there are people on the bench that are good enough to play. She is horrible with injured players as well. Team culture is horrible because of her. It starts from the top anyways.

Narcissist. Dreadful communication skills. Unevolved. Self absorbed - all about “her”. Immature in the extreme. Clueless in terms of sift skills.

Very energetic and positive person! Cares a lot about her players, the whole team, organization and school. Motivational and always wants to do her best. Only minus is the tactical side.

It’s apparent that she greatly loves soccer, but she has a way to go before she starts producing consistent results. Her soccer IQ is ok. One’s experience with her depends on whether you’re her favorite or not. If you’re a favorite, you will feel cared for and supported by her, but if you’re not, it’s going to be up to you.

Overall, Sarah is a good coach who cares about soccer and knows the game well. She values winning and playing well as a team above all. She is a newer head coach so she has some growing into her position to do, but I believe she can do so. One thing that could be better for her as a coach is understanding the commitment that Ivy League academics require as a student-athlete. Since that was not her collegiate experience, she doesn’t place the necessary emphasis on academics that every Ivy League coach should and doesn’t fully understand the time and effort succeeding in our classes takes. Because of this, there can be a disconnect between Sarah and her players. She had been moving in a positive direction regarding bridging this gap and I believe when she does so, she will be easier to talk to and connect with on all levels and be more impactful to her players.
