Shaunessy coached me for 4 years at Bryant University. Although she is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the game of Field Hockey, she lacks solid coaching skills. Instead of motivating and empowering her players, she breaks them down and tears them apart, driving extremely talented people out of the organization and the sport.

Saucier does not know how to effectively coach a team. She has knowledge in the sport but cannot communicate to players exactly what she wants from them. Instead of instilling confidence and teamwork, she breaks players down and broke the team apart. She manipulates players, we lost a lot of talent on the team while I was there.

Shaunessy is an overall great person, she is very caring and genuine. However, she lacks some of the knowledge and decision making skills to be a successful coach at the Division I level. She wants the best for her players but doesn't always know how to effectively coach them to reach their potential. We have had a lot of talent on the team the past few years, however we have not been that successful because Shaunessy doesn't know how to effectively work with and use the talent given.
