In terms of technique, tells athletes what they’re doing wrong but not necessarily how to fix it, only describes it in one way. Encourages over training and training through injury and illness. Encourages a cutthroat attitude from the team. HOWEVER, gets results from athletes, very accessible, and very kind outside of practice.

She really cares about every single one of her rowers. She will take a lot of time out of her day to make sure everybody on the team is okay. She checks up on the little things going on in school and with families.

Shelagh knows a lot about the sport of rowing. I doubt there are people who know more than her.
