He cares a lot for the players and believes in them. Though communication can occasionally be difficult since he is generally a quiet person. He knows a lot and studies the game well. Even when we struggle he emphasizes he believes in us. He is very approachable but you often have to take the first step.

Coach Straub is a great leader by example, and is a fantastic on-course strategist. He has a passion for the game is truly invested in improving his players. He's very accessible and always happy to help you with any aspect of your game. He's on the quieter side, so golfers who are self-motivated perform best under his tutelage.
