Tony is very knowledgable about the throwing events he coaches at UCSD. He offers a great training schedule and makes his athletes feel completely comfortable and confident in their abilities. He is approachable and a truly genuine man who loves each of his athletes as individuals and pushes them to do their best. He has helped me immensely in the javelin throw and he is the most respectable coach i have ever had.
