    I have never had a coach pick favorites and it was eye opening. It was only about the best athletes, if you got injured you were a ghost to Wendy. Everyone wants to win, I understand that. But if your will to win is greater than your love for the actual sport and athletes, then your team will never succeed as a whole.

    Coach McFarlane has had an extremely positive impact on my track career and my life. She genuinely cares about the well-being of her athletes and their lives after college. Couldn't have asked for a more understanding, supportive and uplifting coach during my career at UD.
