I used to be part of the VCU Cross Country and Track Team back in 2020. I quit in 2021. I will expose the real dark truth about VCU Cross Country and Track Team. Wesley Stephens didn’t treated me good. He made the team a very toxic environment to be in. He made the teammates not get along with each other and hate each other. This got me traumatize until this day. He made run by myself after coming back from a foot injury which I ended up getting lost and the neighbors in the Fan District saved my life from getting kidnapped and they ended up calling my dad. I was easy discriminated due to me being Hispanic. VCU Cross Country and Track Team is very discriminatory towards Hispanic, South Asian, and Asian student athletes. This coach and the head coach favor white and African American student athletes than any other minority groups. Please do yourself a favor, do not go to VCU to do cross country and track. Find another university to join cross country and track with a very good environment and a nice coach who does treat student athletes very good.
