When visiting and watching practice I could see that coach culpo was very intense and wanted the team to be in shape. Out side of basketball he was a very nice and down to earth person.

Disorganized, Dishonest, and abusive, condescending. Run the other way, especially if you are an International student athlete. This guy should not be coaching period. Team culture...Beer Olympics, binge drinking, and hazardous behavior. Coaches are very well aware of this, too.

Good communicator, honest with players and creates a great team culture. Culpo knows the game, gives his players a fair chance at playing, while holding the team accountable. its unfortunate that he has a limited talent pool available to live in Vermont Ski country as many players prefer warm climate.

Timmy McAuliffe is disorganized, manipulative, uses foul language, berates, and doesn't seem to have coaching experience. Look up the roster for the past 7 years. He plays head games and is mentally abusive. Surprisingly, nobody will come forward to expose what "we are never to talk about." He has a pattern for game after game. who dresses and who sits in the stands. This guy and his crew, including his Assistant coaches, who played on the team all participated in many violations. Even on Senior Day, he didn't play seniors. His untruths about the University and the team are "family" are all untrue. Stay far away from this guy.

    DisorganizedPoor Communication

McCauliffe is a dishonest Coach, grooms players to participate in gross behavior. Plays head games, uses foul language, and his assistant coach, his BFF, punched the glass on the bench during a game for all to see his violent behavior. Team members have posted hazing (Mandatory Beer Olympics, team bonding) behavior and racist activity. His untruths and bullying behavior should be addressed by the BLUELINE CLUB and is ignored. Those members help cover up the abuse and illegal happenings that go on in the Hockey Program, both Men's and Women's Ice hockey teams. The Athletic Director should be removed from his position. Tim, lies when he recruits to fill the roster, to bench and not dress the SA. It's a pattern that has been going on since he stepped foot in the position. The school rewards his behavior naming him Coach of the Year, to lure International players to come to Vermont State @Castleton, a sinking ship.
