Out of all the coaches my three children have had, starting with Ayso through college, Ben is hands down the worst. 90% of what he told us in the recruiting process was either an outright lie or a massive exaggeration. As a could he consistently had “coffee talks” where he asks inappropriate questions about religion, family planning, and siblings. He consistently told the women they were not good enough to play possession soccer and would use team film sessions to blame losses on players and ridicule them over and over again. He is not someone you want your daughter around for long periods of time. The record of the team during his tenure speaks to his technical competence

    Cares About AcademicsPoor Communication

Doesn’t deliver on any promises and used the same script with everyone while recruiting, doesn’t communicate with nor develop his players. Basically no help with summer team placements. Has done well due to the team working together but not due to coaching or motivation. No feedback or development plans discussed. School also doesn’t value athletes and their schedules. Barely anyone on the team wants to play further or even in the summer. Players sit and wait for opportunity & before you know it you’re a senior with no development and nothing changes, especially pitchers. All of the pitchers have injuries and so have other players so conditioning is questionable.

Had an amazing visit to Holy Cross. She was super honest and open about where she saw me playing and where she saw the team going. Have heard some negative feedback from players there since.

Spends his time trying to convince the team he knows what his talking about. We learned more about his family and girlfriend then about swimming, constantly had his scream toddler at practice. Never focused on goals until champs and then had no advice to achieve the goals. Told my teammate that he didn't need to set up goals with her because she wasn't good. We went most of this season without him because he took leave when we complained about his coaching.

She isn’t kind, knowledgeable, or considerate of her athletes. She has favorites and stirs up drama between players. Honestly was such a toxic environment. She makes players feel like s**t. She made racial comments and would laugh about them. She also hid a drug test results so she didn’t have to punish her favorite people. The team culture is awful.
