I have played soccer at Missouri Western for the past two years and have had a great experience with Coach Plocher. He is a strong coach whom I have truly enjoyed playing for, and he consistently expresses confidence in his players’ ability to succeed. Over the past two years, our program has had significant success. We have qualified for the NCAA Division II conference tournament in back-to-back seasons, and this fall (2025), we won the MIAA Conference Tournament. Overall, Coach Plocher is doing great things for this program.

You cannot trust her. She is not honest in the recruiting process. Her favoritism and bias is of epic proportions. She elevates about 4-5 players to God-like status, then treats everyone else horribly. I encourage you to look at stats. She will continue to play her favorites regardless of performance. 2 years in a row her first baseman hovered around.100 batting average and never came out.Even commentators at away games during streaming would mention it. Often saying things like “I don't know what the coach is thinking. This doesn’t make sense.” She predicts at the beginning of the season who she thinks the all-Americans will be— even though they never earned that award in the end. But, will never take them out of a game even though they are not producing. I’m guessing because she’s committed to her narrative about favorites? One girl on the team had the highest batting average for 2 consecutive years— was recognized nationally, and by conference coaches, but never by her own coach because she wasn’t a favorite. This player also was massively under scholar-shipped for what she contributed to the success of the team. There were favorites that sat the bench that received double and triple amounts of money. Totally toxic culture.

Absolutely the most horrible coach there is.. she made me absolutely hate softball. She tore me down as a player, and— not to mention, she made a lot other girls quit because she just not a good coach. She only plays her favorite nine, so if you think you’ll play your in for a treat. In addition she’s honestly not knowledgeable at all.
