Check with his students and look at how few people leave the program, and it gives you an idea that he's solid and running a solid program.

Neil and the coaching staff are known for steady program building and athlete progression. Development over time is clearly valued more than quick results. Athletes we met spoke positively about the team culture and support. A solid option for runners seeking growth and consistency. Wasn't our final pick but they left a good impression on me and my son.

Coach Hennon is verbally abusive. He will take out a loss caused by his poor coaching on a random player. He will intentionally demoralize a player in front of his team mates. He weaponises team mates to interrogate other team mates creating an unhealthy locker room. Hennon has and will take away an entire Freshman classes scholarships! Rodney Hennons promises mean nothing. He does not keep his word. Rodney loves the portal but can't understand when players leave him. The only way he knows how to motivate is through demoralizing a player. Rodney sucks as a human being and anyone can get better results than him as a coach. He has no personality and no love for the player. Go to a real D1 program like every good player that leaves there does. Unless you like to see your son get abused go anywhere else.

Coach Carter is absolutely the best. When we were moving our son in his freshman year, we knew that he was in great hands with Coach Carter. He doesn’t JUST treat his players like family he adopted US, our whole family into the GS team. He is tough when he has to be but fair and he never wants to leave a player behind to go to a tournament. If there is a player that ever goes for a tour of the facilities or a “visit” as a prospective team member, I could never see why they would choose anywhere else. He is committed to his players and the players families in ways that are hard to understand. He just loves his team, the school, the game, the competition and it shows!
