i had a good experience my year playing under coach burleson. I do have to say I don’t think he was 100% clear on the amount of players on the team and how hard it is to get playing time. The team is loaded with 6 year seniors from the covid and new ncaa rules. They do have a Devo squad which is pretty much a d3 JV team that plays other JV squads. I am an offensive lineman and to have the Head coach be your OL coach sounded awesome that’s one of my main reasons i chose Hardin simmons over others.

She was an intelligent coach that did not have great people skills. She was honorable and attempted to be fair but struggled at times. She operated out of fear (of losing games/losing her job/pleasing others) more often than out of self confidence. She let the politics get to her too much.
