There is saying, "those who can't play, coach", fortunately, she can do both. Not only was she great in her time as a player, she is a great coach because she understands the game. Outside of softball, she makes an effort to get to know her players as actual people and puts in time to build her relationships with every young woman on the team. Any recruits that are looking to come to Haverford would be so lucky to play for her.

Coach Poppe is very knowledgeable about the game and is a super competitive person who sets her team up for success. It’s been a pleasure playing for her and I would highly recommend any recruits to consider Haverford.

He is not even a college coach. Was fired from Haverford, released from Colgate & Drexel after one season. Now coaches at Westtown - a high school where he has created a toxic culture.

Shane Rineer is the exact opposite of what a good coach ought to be. He is rude, totally self centered and cares only to win. He is known to lose his cool in the games and practices and can be abusive on and off the field.
