    MENTAL ABSUE

This woman is the most mentally abusive coach ever. She puts players against each other, s**t shames players, cusses at them, and deliberately isolates them from the entire team. There was already a law-suit against this coach for hazing/bullying and it was pushed under the rug. She has had dozens of athletes transfer or quit playing softball because of her abusive nature.

    Passionate About CoachingKnows The Game

Was more focused on being included in the drama than coaching the team. Made judgments of her players personalities based on what the captains said rather than building a relationship with her players. Is constantly berating and humiliating her players with no remorse.

    Don’t recommend

Great school and has potential to be a great program, but the way Kayla coaches and treats players, drives players away from the program. She gets into team drama and judges you more on personality rather than actual field hockey skills. The players are in a constant state of stress which cultivates a toxic team environment. So many players transfer for good reason; the numbers never lie. Many complaints get swept under the rug by the athletic department, and nothing will ever change. She consistently gets great talent, but can’t seem to put together a good season. If you don’t care too much about field hockey, you’ll have a good time at the school, otherwise, I would never recommend this program.
