Can a coach care about winning too much?

She was intense and wanted to win at any cost. I grew a lot as a person and a player and because of the coaching style I got very close with my teammates. Overall I would recommend if you are looking to continue playing softball after Juco at a division 2 school or lower.

Focus on the fact that she’s your coach, not your friend

All feelings aside, as a player, Coach Jordan completely taught me the game. I still use her knowledge of the game at my new school I’m at. She really breaks down the game for you in ways that you most likely won’t like, but it works more than you could imagine. Stay mentally strong and disciplined and you’ll make your way through the 2 years just fine

I think great coach, very knowledge about the game. her emotions can be very up and down, and her methods can be kind of old school. But have thick skin and your fine.

Picked favorites, if you weren’t a favorite you didn’t mean anything to her. However, I have some respect for her because she’s honest.

Coach Jordan was an amazing coach in my opinion. She pushed us to our limits and we succeeded. The work was hard but it was worth it to become winners. She turned Iowa Westerns program around. She turned me into so much better of a player and made me tougher. I would 100% recommend this program to anyone who wants to improve and become a tougher individual.
