Coach is one of the best coaches out there. She creates a positive and competitive environment for her players. She takes time to listen to anyone who needs and knows the game so well! The past four years, I learned so much. Not only about the game but also about life and how to reflect Christ more each day! I am so grateful to have been able to be on a team with such a wonderful and supportive Coach!

Expects hard work and discipline but fair across the board. Sometimes on the more reserved side but he is professionally laid-back as a person and coach. Give him a lot of respect for actually conditioning with us on regular basis.

KnowledgeableCreates A Great Team CultureDedicated To PlayersDevelops Team Beyond The FieldUnderstanding

Coach Heather McKay has been the most influential coach I have ever had. Over the past five years, she has completely changed my life and helped shape me into a better person, leader, friend, and athlete. She genuinely cares about each player beyond the game and invests in who we are both on and off the field. Her leadership, integrity, and ability to bring out the best in others have had a lasting impact on me. Even now, I often find myself asking, "What would Coach do?" because the lessons she taught me extend far beyond lacrosse. Any athlete would be incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to play for Coach McKay.

Creates A Great Team CultureDedicated To PlayersDevelops Team Beyond The FieldPassionate About CoachingUnderstanding

Coach McKay cares deeply about her players and the success of the program. She genuinely wants every player to succeed both on and off the field, and she invests in each individual as more than just an athlete. Throughout each player’s four years, she consistently develops them into stronger players, more confident leaders, and better people. She creates an environment where athletes are challenged to grow, held to a high standard, and supported every step of the way. She has built a culture that emphasizes putting the team above the individual, serving others, and keeping Christ at the center of the program. Coach McKay leads by example through her passion for the game, love for Jesus, and commitment to her players, making her an outstanding role model and mentor. Her program emphasizes excellence, meaningful relationships, and personal growth just as much as success on the field, preparing players for life beyond lacrosse.
