Was unfair with opportunities when it came to play time or even watching bullpens at practice. Had “his guys” and if you weren’t one of them you didn’t get a chance.

Listen to the reviews or don’t but numbers don’t lie. He leaves his favorites on the mound too long and develops a run deficit that they can’t come back from. This is why most games were lost, check the records. But it’s not just him, the team needs a whole new staff to match its D2 status.

Coach Cliff exemplifies what it means to be a truly exceptional coach. From day one, his approach has been not only respectful but deeply caring. He takes the time to understand each player individually, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. His positivity is infectious and even in the toughest moments, Cliffy finds a way to lift our spirits and keep us motivated. He is very knowledgeable and will always put you in the best position to succeed. What sets Cliff apart is his unwavering belief in each of us. He sees our potential even when we doubt ourselves and pushes us to achieve more than we ever thought possible. Playing for him has been an honor and a privilege; he is truly one of the best coaches I've ever had the fortune to learn from. If you're looking for a coach who not only teaches the game but also believes in your abilities and cares about your growth as a player and as a person, Coach Cliff is the person you want to play for.

He is what is great about college coaching! I want to go into coaching one day and I am thankful that I had the chance to play for Coach Cliff because I had a first hand look of what college coaching should be! He cares about his players, listens and is willing to go above and beyond for his guys! He showed me that a coach can care for you, demand the most from you and show up everyday wanting to help you become the best version of yourself! Emory and Henry was lucky to have coach cliff! The comment about players going into the portal is ridiculous because the only reason they went into the portal is because Coach Cliff is leaving E&H for a new job and all players come to E&H for him! Go find Coach Cliff and go play for him, it will be the best decision you make!
