I loved and played baseball for as long as I can remember. He is the one person who made me lose my love and passion for baseball. He’s that awful and anti-inspiring.

I came into college football changing positions and getting thrown into a completely new area that I wasn’t comfortable with, but coach simkins definitely made the transition much easier throughout fall camp and the season itself. Always super understanding and respectful to us which makes sense considering he had just finished up college football himself, which also goes hand in hand with him being easy to get along with. There wasn’t a generational gap between us like with most players and coaches.

I loved playing for the Boxers and Coach Billings and I learned a lot from him.
