Will kill the love of the game for you. Tells team to drop their boyfriends because they are a distraction, said homework is not allowed on bus trips to away games, publicly humiliates her team close to hazing. Forced team to clean men’s locker room, which only brought division within the team. Would talk down about players SHE recruited to other players she favors. An extreme amount of favoritism. Claims to have no team depth/bench and blames it on a “recruiting problem.” Keep in mind, the current team is a majority of her recruits. She takes no accountability for her mistakes. The team has so much talent, but is being held back. No coach should bring a player down to the point where they want to give up their childhood dreams.

    Poor Communication

Horrible leader. Coach is deceitful and does not care about you as a person UNLESS you are her favorite. Favoritism is VERY apparent. Coach talks behind your back to other players, creating a horrible team culture. Coach is strong-headed, never open to anyone’s opinions, and is always right no matter how much evidence you have against her. Coach will make it seem like she is a safe place and then use it against you. She also fails to take accountability for her actions. You could be playing the best season of your life, and if you are not her favorite, you will not touch the field.

This Coach was very disrespectful, constantly lied and talked bad about her own players. Favoritism was very apparent. No matter how hard you worked, nothing would change. An 8-0 loss didn’t even change the players on the field. Would call her players disrespectful, untrustworthy, and never communicated. Would lie to her benefit.

Zero practice planning. Little to NO film, Zero study halls, zero time spent on campus before or after practice, verbally abusive, top performers, loved teammates, and captains to quit or leave. Demotivates, negative reinforcement, poor language use, liar—does not uphold his word. Not committed. Informed players of whether we had 7am practice later than 10pm regularly, cancelled practice regularly, avoids coaching in the rain, does not use come close to using the full CARA hours. He is a bully, he has a massive ego, he is disrespectful— calling his players “useless,” a “waste of his time.” “if you could shoot underhand you’d be down the road at Syracuse.” Saying “you guys can’t shoot” pregame. The list goes on and on. He disrespects and yells at refs ALL GAME, even before the first whistle he will begin calling a jump on the face-off, and it will not end until the refs are out of sight. Do not let this man near your program, your boys, men, or anyone else where he is meant to coach, and mentor. He is a good recruiter, and has a decent offensive playbook. He could be a recruiter and an assistant coach at best.

Overall terrible coach. Can’t make in-game adjustments. Does not tell the truth in 1-on-1 meetings with players, and will not encourage you as a player unless you are one of her favorites (slim chance).
