This is the worst Coach EVER

No clue how she keeps a job. Got fired from so many places and literally lost all her games at so many schools. This is hands down one of the worst coaches I have had in my life (SouthernU) and unfortunately Southern doesn’t care much to make a change yet. She is beyond weird and ruined our team with her lying and obsession with drama. She lies so much it’s crazy. The practices were horrible and so elementary and she didn’t teach us anything new whatsoever. Her assistants also hated her and she treated them like sh**. We saw how disorganized she was on the daily and just how much as a whole she just doesn’t know volleyball. Do not play for this crazy a** lady, please.

Dawn is no longer the coach at South Carolina State University. Somehow she landed the head coaching position at Southern University. As her former player, during the recruiting process she talks big about wanting “The Cinderella Story”. She can talk and knows how to pull recruits in. Once they’re in, it’s a different story. She is a VERY disorganized coach. She doesn’t know the game and our practices consisted of the same thing for 3 years before she was fired. She violated numerous NCAA rules including Cara log hours and stealing players and parents personal money. She is more focused on what athletes are doing outside of the court rather than focus on the sport and how she can win games. She is a liar. She can’t keep consistent coaching staff so it makes you wonder what’s going on behind the scenes. 0/10 do not recommend playing under Dawn.

Easily overwhelmed, didn’t want to be there and made it very apparent. Glad she only lasted a year
