Knows track and field like the back of his hand. Super caring guy who will talk your ear off about stocks and clash royale outside of practice.

In my two years as a Transfer, wrestling for Duane has been one of the best decisions of my life. Even though I fell short of my goal of becoming an NCAA Champion, Duane adequately prepared me for life outside of wrestling, and for that I am forever thankful.

His record says it all worst coach I’ve ever encountered. Had no knowledge of the sport players get worse from their freshman year to their senior year he kills the confidence of players and has no business being a head coach. Players don’t respect him.

I struggled with mental health when I got to college and coach did not help. She acted like she loved me and I was the top recruit all up until I actually committed. It was like she forgot about me after that. She stated to me in a meeting once, “you look miserable, like you don’t even want to be here”, when I was actively battling depression. When I stated that I didn’t, she didn’t offer any help or support. She played favorites and did not show consistency. You would play 45 minutes in one game and then not at all the next for no reason. When you asked about it, she would say you are the inconsistent one. She led me to hate the sport, so much that I ended up quitting.
