Eddy Galvan is the perfect example of a knowledgeable, dedicated staff member of UTRGV athletics . He is always responsive, going above and beyond to assist. UTRGV is lucky to have this man.

Paul is arguably the worst coach I have witnessed in the 20 years that my kids have played soccer. He is a horrible communicator, punishes people for asking questions or standing up to him, and is mentally and emotionally abusive. He single-handedly ruined the men's soccer program at Carthage College.

    DisorganizedPoor Communication

Coach Penberthy was a lackluster coach in my opinion. Very nice person but does not make decisions based on knowledge. Training had the appearance of guesswork and assumptions. Does not seem interested in honest feedback from athletes. Concerns were also not communicated promptly nor directly with athletes in many cases, whether they be related or unrelated to practice.

Coach Mike is one of the best coaches I ever had in any sport I played. He knows technique, recruits really good athletes, and builds good team chemistry. He was the glue to our team at Coastal. We wish he was still here.
