Put me in the darkest place of my life

Almost committed suicide twice because of this staff. They made me feel invisible, invaluable, and not important. They make the team go against each other and snitch on each other to get ahead. You cant be yourself, you cant say what you really want to say out of fear.

Worst head coach ever. Countless of alumni including myself have had horrible experiences with her. She doesn't care about every single girl- only the one she likes or thinks is “cute”. Honestly, it is such a negative environment. Everyone dreads to go to practices and play under her and her mean short hot headed assistant coach- mitch. He and her just dont work well together and neither of them deserved their spots after Michael left. The administration just didnt want to find someone else and instead chose the Director of ops- who does meals, and hotels etc to be the head coach of a d1 soccer team. What a joke. To top it off- they just keep asking for donations from alumni instead of asking how we are doing like they said they were gonna do.

Creates A Great Team CultureDevelops Team Beyond The FieldDirectFairRespectful To Players

Coach Stef is great with the team! She gives honest feedback while being respectful. Even girls not playing (injured or just not making the cut) always travel with the team which helps with team culture and morale. After talking to other parents and their athletes’ experiences, I am so happy our daughter chose UNCG. While Stef’s record has not been great, this upcoming season will be her first true recruiting class and I am confident that the Spartans are going to have a winning season!
