Coach Perez is a legend of the game. He’s been at Redlands for the past 20 years after coaching LA Galaxy, and being assistant coach of the USMNT. That’s just to name a couple of his previous jobs. He’s a dedicated and committed coach on the field, passionate about winning. And he’s a fatherly figure off the field. Couldn’t have a better coach.

Great coach! She is one of my favorite coaches I’ve had. Motivated me to do my best on and off the field.

    Poor Communication

He was the worst coach I had ever had in my 13 years of playing. Belittled you and didn’t believe in you. Used you to win games but never cared about you until he had a title IX case on him. He has had 25+ girls quit in the 4 years he has been at Redlands. Wants to be the coach that gets invited to your wedding but isn’t a good human. Doesn’t deserve to still be a coach at Redlands but the administration turns a blind eye. I had to go to therapy because of him.

    Easy To Get Along With

Very nice coach, but lacks college volleyball knowledge. Would be a perfect high school coach or community college coach but definitely not NCAA or NAIA coaching.
