Honestly, how does this guy even have a job. Clearly this was the wrong career choice. Just wrap it up at this point.

Our daughter had nothing but horrible experiences with this coach. He does NOT care about swimming, his athletes, or anything aside from making himself look good. At every turn and for every season our daughter swam under his direction, she was misinformed, misdirected, excluded, and misrepresented. The coach's constant excuses about the program being in its 'growing pains' phase and him still 'establishing protocols' and learning what works and what doesn't as a team was just BS. After our daughter chose to graduate early because she was afraid she wouldn't get to swim her senior season, she was even excluded from alumni events when she still lives in the town where the college is! Who does that??? No student-athlete deserves to be disrespected like that even if its a D1 program. This guy is bad news, please don't waste your time and your kids' college experience!

Fantastic coach who will do anything for his players. Turned a program around at USI that was in the dumps athletically and academically to being one of the highest GPA teams on campus and making multiple NCAA tournaments.

We could not have had a WORSE experience with this coach! He is NEVER honest, does NOT care about his athletes unless it makes him look good, and he absolutely has no regard for the families and parents who support their swimmers and question his authority. He is not knowledgeable and gravely lacks professionalism. For those who believe the proof is in the numbers, just look what kind of swimmer he was, not the number of records his swimmers break! The program being 'new' explains why there are so many records broken. The team experiencing growing pains is nothing more than a laughable excuse for what should really be stated, he has no idea how to make this a cohesive, positive, environment for his athletes to thrive in. Pains us to this day having watched so many talented kids come into this program under the impression they would be swimming in a D1 program and be a part of something great in this school's history only to leave because he has literally ruined their love for swimming and beat them down personally so badly, they doubt themselves not just inside the pool, but outside of it as well. If I could rate ZERO stars, I ABSOLUTELY WOULD!!!
