Honestly, she has been the worst coach I have ever had in all my years of playing multiple sports at multiple levels. The culture of Wagner Lacrosse has been ruined under her watch. She truly does not care about players. She leaves the office at 11am every day and is so hard to reach. She lies to your face at any given moment. Oh yeah, she also lets the 2 assistant coaches walk all over her. She has no game sense and does not know how to utilize players. There is 0 creativity in practice or games. She and her stay also accuses players of things they do not do. She should not be a college coach, let alone a head coach. She was a great player and I hope one day she learns how to translate that into her coaching style. For now, I’d stay far away from Kelly McP.

Devin is the man, although not at Wagner anymore if you get the chance to play for him DO IT! I played for Devin not only in my youth baseball days but also at Wagner. Aside from Devin Wagner was a miserable place for a lot of people and he created a space for us that made us excited to be there everyday. On top of being a great guy on and off the field he also knows the game inside and out having played years of affiliated professional baseball. Devin is the type of guy you’ll still be friends with when you’re no longer playing for him and he will always have your back. Coaches this is who you want on your staff, and players this is who you want to play for! The pitching staff rides in his van to practice and games will forever be something I cherish about my college baseball days.

    Disorganized

I played for Craig for 3 years 2, as a head coach 1 as an assistant. Two years in a row his conduct was so bad that players organized a meeting with the AD to suggest that he was let go because of how uncomfortable he made players both on and off the field. He’s the best recruiter in the world, he works like the US military, he will tell you EXACTLY what you want to hear and will cut you after the fall because he ofer recruited and doesn’t have enough scholarship money. I played a significant amount of time under him, and the meetings were filled with not only bench players, but our everyday starting lineup as well. Do yourself a favor, go to a JUCO, go d2 go d3 if Wagner is your ONLY division 1 offer PLEASE, DO NOT GO!!!!! In 2022 and 2023 the average weight loss per player was over 8 pounds as we were sent away in our hotel rooms most nights we lost with dinner being at 4 leaving us stranded with nothing to eat most nights. You may not believe me if you’ve only met him on the surface as he hides this version of himself very well. I ask that you reach out to a players who played in 2022 and 2023 any of them they will share the same feelings I do. STAY AWAY!
