Joe Martin is an amazing recruiter. But what he lacks is relating and connecting to college athletes. There is no mutual respect and he has a constant power trip. He is incapable of giving any kind of responsibility to his assistant coaches and looks at incoming freshman with more confidence then 4 year seniors who have put the work in to be on the team. This explains why Skidmore mens lacrosse is always a young team. His retention rate for players is the horrible and when I decided to leave the team and meet with my coaches, my assistant coach told me he was not allowed to talk during our meeting.
